The concept of Corvettes of Western Ontario ( CWO ), began in 1968 when a group of local Corvette owners decided to form a Club for the London, Ontario area. These were the days of the Brackstone's, Boam's, Harris', Somerville's, Beaky, Bird's, Doan's and Fleets to name a few.
The Club was formed to provide local Corvette enthusiasts, a forum and opportunity to bond and cruise together in the lifestyle that the greatest sports car, the Corvette, can provide. And the spirit of the early founders lives on, even to this date of over 50 years, we still have many early founding members continuing to be part of the Club. And this is important, even though the demographics of the Club change from year to year the stalwart aspect of those founding members continues to form the backbone of this strong Club.
Corvettes of Western Ontario is a non-profit Club based out of London, Ontario but our membership roster hails from such areas as Windsor, Forest, Ilderton, Burgessville, Woodstock, St. Thomas, Dorchester, Thamesford, Kincardine, Union, Denfield, Tillsonburg, Mt. Brydges, Norwich, Dashwood, Alymer, Unionville, Woodstock, Grand Bend to name a few.
We have long supported local charities, directly through year end contributions, along with supporting associate Clubs, in their charitable venues and events. This current "cruzin' season", will see us expand our contributions through non-perishable food items to the local food banks, along with volunteering at the Food Bank and Hospitality Meal Program.
Memberships are available to owners of Corvettes. If you are interested in joining Corvettes of Western Ontario, please click on the Membership tab for additional information. Should you have further questions, comments or suggestions, feel free to contact our Club President by clicking this link
